Round-table in Animal Ethics (10/03)

On the 10th of March 2016, as part of the CRÉ’s activities, and with the support of the GRÉEA, Marie-Noëlle Carré (post-doctoral student, Centre de Recherche en Éthique) et Kathryn Furlong (associate professor, Université de Montréal) will organize a round-table in animal ethics called : « L’éthique animale entre philosophie, géographie et études culturelles ».

The round-table will take place between 4-6 pm at the Geography Department of the Université de Montréal, 520 chemin de la Côte Sainte-Catherine ouest, room 430.

  • Division et aménagement du territoire : nos devoirs envers les animaux”, Valéry Giroux (associate researcher, Centre de Recherche en Éthique), Angela Martin (post-doctoral student, Centre de Recherche en Éthique)
  • “Wildlife Politics”, Rosemary Claire Collard (Assistant Professor, Concordia University)
  • Zoonotic Illness and the Limits of the Ethical”, Jesse Arseneault (Lecturer, Concordia University)
